YouGardenPlan helps you plan and look after your garden. This page explains what data we process, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights.
1. Who is responsible
Multiapps SL, tax ID B27858174, Avenida Aeroporto, 686 Bj, 36318 Vigo (Pontevedra), Spain. You can write to us at yougardenplan@gmail.com.
2. What data we process and why
Your account
Your email address and your password, which is stored encrypted and which we never see. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the identifier and email address they give us; with Apple this may be a relay address. We use them to create your account, keep it secure and let you see your garden on any device. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
What you write about your garden
Your garden's name, the description of its climate and location, the style you are after, whether there are pets, your areas, plants and feeds, your ideas and conversations, and the plans, calendars and sketches that are generated. We need them to provide the service. Legal basis: performance of the contract. There is no need to write personal details: for the climate, the town or region is enough.
The plans prepared by AI
To prepare area plans, calendars, plant profiles, feed compatibility and idea conversations, we send our artificial intelligence provider the part of your garden's content that each answer needs. We never send it your email address or your password. Legal basis: performance of the contract.
Usage and limits
We count how many generations you run each month and what they cost, to apply the monthly limit and prevent abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Suggestions
If you write to us from the app, we keep your message, its language and, if you give it, your email address, to read it and improve the app. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
App security
We check with Apple (App Attest) or Google (Play Integrity) that requests come from the genuine app. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.
What stays on your phone
The app keeps a few preferences on your device, such as the last garden you opened or whether you have seen the welcome. They never leave your phone.
Ratings
The app may show the system prompt to rate it. Apple or Google handle it; we receive no data.
This website
When you visit it, our hosting provider logs technical data such as your IP address to serve and protect the page. We use no cookies and no analytics. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
If you email us
We use your details to answer you and keep them while the request is open. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
3. Who has access to your data
- Google: through Firebase, accounts, database, server functions, hosting of this website and app checks; through Gmail, the mailbox where we receive your messages. The database is in the European Union and the functions run in Belgium. Some services, such as accounts, may process data outside the European Union under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
- An artificial intelligence provider: generates the plans. It receives only the garden content each answer needs, never your email address or your password. It processes data outside the European Economic Area, in a country without an adequacy decision from the European Commission.
- Apple and Google, as app stores and sign-in providers, process your data under their own policies.
We share your data with no one else.
4. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. If you delete it from Settings → Delete my account, we immediately erase your account, your gardens with everything in them, your suggestions and your usage counters. We only keep the cost records of the generations, with nothing that identifies you. Hosting logs are kept for the period Google sets. See Delete your account for the details.
5. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw any consent you have given (Articles 15 to 22 GDPR). You can delete your account from the app or write to yougardenplan@gmail.com from your account's email address. We will answer within one month.
6. Complaints
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or to the data protection authority in your country.
7. Children
YouGardenPlan is not intended for children under 14.
8. Security
All connections are encrypted. The database's access rules only let each account see its own gardens. We check that requests come from the genuine app, and internal access to data is restricted.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, tell you in the app.
